The American Break-Up

“America, am I breaking up with you?  Or, are you, breaking up with me?”  This metaphorical ‘break-up’ is the catalyst for this first person documentary by filmmaker Myles David Jewell.  Using the road film as an archetype and the lens of a millennial, Myles questions how Americans see their relationship to their country as a vehicle to explore the construction of identity.
